FAQ
Straight answers to the questions leaders usually ask before the first call.
Concise answers about engagement structure, pricing, fit, and what the first conversation usually looks like.
What does a typical LSI engagement look like?+
Every engagement begins with a diagnostic, structured interviews and direct observation before any recommendations are made. From there, the scope depends on what the diagnostic surfaces. Most full engagements span three to six months, covering the highest-priority practice areas identified. LSI does not sell a pre-packaged solution. The engagement is built around what the organization actually needs.
What does LSI cost?+
Engagements begin at $25,000. Full organizational engagements are typically priced in the $75,000-$200,000 range depending on scope and complexity. Pricing reflects principal-level delivery across a multi-month engagement, not a junior team producing deliverables. The first conversation is a no-fee discovery call to determine whether an engagement is the right fit.
How long before we see results?+
The diagnostic phase typically produces findings that are immediately actionable. Structural changes, accountability frameworks, reporting redesigns, and role clarifications often show measurable impact within the first ninety days of implementation. Full payback on a typical engagement is measured in months, not years.
Do you work with nonprofits or faith-based organizations?+
Yes. LSI works with nonprofits navigating governance challenges, leadership transitions, financial stewardship concerns, or operational strain from growth. The same structural principles apply: accountability, clear roles, and systems that support execution rather than impede it. Faith-based organizations - including churches navigating staff structure, financial oversight, or leadership alignment - are a natural fit for the same model. The structural principles that govern organizational health do not change based on the mission.
Who will I actually be working with?+
Doug Case leads every engagement directly. The person who meets with you initially is the person who does the diagnostic, leads the advisory sessions, and is present through implementation. No handoffs and no junior-level substitution after the sale.
We've already tried consultants. Why would this be different?+
Most consulting engagements produce a findings document and end. LSI stays through implementation. More importantly, LSI does not begin work with a predetermined solution. The diagnostic is genuine and structured to surface what is actually happening, not confirm a hypothesis.
How do we get started?+
A 20-minute discovery call is the first step. No pitch and no pressure. An honest conversation about what is in the way and whether LSI is the right fit to address it. From that conversation, if there is alignment, LSI will propose a diagnostic scope and engagement structure within one week.
